My last name Wreath

I will admitt, I tend to be more of an idea stealer rather than creater, so I absolutely cannot take credit for this idea. I found it on Pinterest and fell in love. It was so easy and fun to do.

Things you'll need:

You can find all these things at your local craft store (i.e. Joanns Fabric, Ben Franklin, Michaels etc)
The garland examples above are a little Christmasy but you can find more year round styles at the store; they are also real, for this you most likely want a fake garland. I usually just use whatever craft paint is on sale for these kinds of things, but there are different sheens you can choose from.

Step 1. Paint your letter (may need several coats)
Step 2. Let it dry (for impatient peeps like myself)
Step 3. Arrange the garland into a circle, you can find a way to tie ends together or safety pin and most fake garlands are easy to rearrange, you can pull pieces out and put them in in different areas to even spots out.
Step 4. Tie ribbon around letter and wreath with the length you like best.

As you can tell in my example, the sides are slightly uneven so I will need to pull some pieces and play with it some more. I also used some gold glitter spray paint over the green paint to add some sparkle to mine.

Thanks Pinterest!
